How will my guests know you're there?
We provide our own equipment to set up which features posters explaining who we are and what we are there to do. At the start time of your hire, Laurie will begin informing guests of our presence and pointing out where we are.
What if you don't complete all the drawings?
If we have taken photos of your guests striking a pose for us to illustrate, but we do not have time to complete this, we offer post-event services free of charge. This means any in complete illustrations will be drawn soon after your event and posted right to you.
What if 2 people in an illustration both want a copy?
Due to the desire to capture as many guests in illustrations as possible, we will only be completing one illustration per photo taken. If there is a quiet period we use this time to take candid photos and capture your guests enoying your event. If there is time and someone requests a second copy of their illustration, we may be able to do this but it is not guaranteed and will not be exactly the same as the first illustration
Who will be there from Drawn Together (and why)?
Both Ellie and Laurie will be present when you hire Drawn Together to be at your event. Ellie is the artist, she needs the entire hire time to illustrate as many as your guests as possible, without Laurie she simply does not have time to take photos, interact with guests, or keep organised efficiently.
Do you need power?
No! We do not need any power for our set up (unless you have chosen digital art) so you can chose any location on site for us to set up and illustrate your special event.
How long do you need to set up?
We will arrive 1 hour before your hire time, this is to ensure we are set up and ready to begin illustrating you and your guests from the start of your hire time - you are not charged for this hour.
How long do you need to pack down?
Please allow us 30 minutes to pack down our set up and equipment and leave the site.
How much set up space do you need?
We require a 3m x 3m space to set up and work from.
Do you charge for travel expenses?
We charge 45p per mile from our POB to your event and back, parking expenses are on us.
